The increasing online shopping demand has paved the way for the e-commerce market to be more dynamic and competitive, generating great chances and potential investment in this field. The program main objective is to drive installs, registered users and new buyers to the Shopee app. In order to monitor the campaign’s performance, we use Appsflyer as our main tracking method. At the beginning of the piloting month, partner will be integrated into Shopee’s Appsflyer system and provided a Google Studio Dashboard which is automatically update and reflect the campaign’s performance daily.

Shopee Fraud Protection:

With increasing mobile fraud, Shopee applies a three-layered fraud deduction for its partners to protect from fraudulent installs. Partner needs to agree to all three fraud deductions.

Publishers' Blocking and Rejection Rules for Insertion Orders

The Publisher agrees to undertake the following blocking measures:

  1. Automatic blocking of installs via AppsFlyer for any install with a Click to Install Time (“CTIT”) of less than 20 seconds.
  2. Automatic blocking of installs via AppsFlyer for any install if the OS version for Android devices is below 4 or below 7, for iOS devices.
  3. For sites utilized by the Publisher as according to AppsFlyer:

(a) Reject all installs (on both Android and iOS devices) from such sites where the percentage of installs from such sites is below twenty (20%) percent for CTIT, within a two (2) hours window AND if installs/ clicks ratio (“Install CR”) is below zero point two (0.2%) percent;

(b) Reject all installs from the site if new device install percentage is above 40% AND loyal user rate is below 40%;

(c) Reject all installs from the site if more than five (5%) percent of the total installs from the site get flagged as originating from any countries different from where the Shopee app is available;

(d) Reject all installs from the site if more than twenty (20%) of the total installs from the site are flagged as being four (4) versions older than the latest version available, on the first day of each calendar month;

(e) Reject all installs from the site if Day three (3) registration rate is below seven (7%) percent (Install Day is Day zero (0); consider cumulative registration events within the first three (3) days);

(f) Reject all installs from the site if Day two (2) retention rate is below ten (10%) percent (Install Day is Day zero (0); data as presented on the AppsFlyer Retention Report).

Additional Note:

● The above blocking rules shall be applied to Publishers’ monthly installs data.

● Data, as referenced in this document, shall be generated from AppsFlyer.

● Rule 3(a) is only applicable for click-through installs.

● When installs from a site are rejected by Shopee due to any of the above blocking rules, payment shall not be made for any related installs or in-app events originating from that site for the applicable calendar month.

Payment

At the end of each month, Shopee team will calculate billable installs by deducting the blocked installations recorded by Shopee Fraud Protection. Payment will be made based on the billable installs multiplied by the CPI price model agreed by both Parties and sent out on the 10th working day of the month.
